Wahey! – just received issue twelve of Concrete magazine. As usual the latest edition is bigger than the last, rammed with eastern steel, quality photos and interesting reports of adventures in far flung places.
For this first post I’ll review one of my favourite magazines around at the moment. Concrete magazine has been going for ten years and in 2015 has released its eleventh issue. Concrete’s main focus is on trains with regular photo reports mainly from Poland but also elsewhere in Central and Eastern Europe.
Issue eleven has 132 pages packed with top quality photos from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Romania, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. I’ve seen some interesting styles in Poland and there’s plenty to see over there which is well portrayed by this magazine with a range of trains from all over the country. Continue reading
